Originally from Saint-Majorique-de-Grantham, where she had her first contact with traditional arts, Élisabeth Moquin is now a graduate in fiddling from the traditional music program at the Cégep de Joliette. A beautiful journey that has enriched her both professionally and personally. Co-founder of the group É.T.É, this young musician, with her dynamism, her interpersonal skills and her ease on stage, knows how to captivate the audience. Traditional Quebec step dancing is also an integral part of her passions. Whether it is within a folk dance troupe or in a self-taught way, all means are good to step dance even more.
Very active in the traditional scene and passionate about this music, she travels throughout Quebec and the world to participate in various classes and traditional music camps to perfect her art and to meet new people, always with the objective of sharing and keeping the living Quebec heritage alive.
